Aadi Pooram
Celebrated on the Pooram star day in the auspicious Tamil month of Aadi, Aadi Pooram is one of the most significant festivals dedicated to the Goddess. It is celebrated with great devotion in Amman temples across Tamil Nadu and is also observed as the birth star of Andal, the beloved consort of Lord Vishnu. The day symbolizes the triumph of divine feminine energy (Shakti) and is considered highly auspicious for seeking blessings of fertility, prosperity, and protection from the Goddess. Special poojas including abhishekam, alankaram, and archana will be performed, followed by prasadam distribution.
