Murugan Temple of St. Louis (“we,” “our,” “the Temple,” or “MTS”) is a Registered, Non-Profit, Tax-Exempt 501 C(3) Religious Organization located in Missouri, USA. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information of devotees, visitors, donors, volunteers, participants, and anyone interacting with our services, facilities, events, or website.

  2. How Your Information Is Used – We use information for religious activities,
    communications, donation processing, volunteer management, media publication, safety, and legal compliance. We don’t sell or share your data to external partners or 3rd parties for monetary gains. We always use your date in the scope of our temple operations.
  3. Photography, Videography & Livestream Policy – By entering Temple premises,
    you may appear in photos, videos, or livestreams shared on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or the Temple website. Once any user joins MTS WhatsApp community, the user agrees to MTS’s Terms and Conditions that user’s contact information is visible to MTS admins and photos, videos, docs and links published by the user are solely intended to promote MTS brand and not promote user’s personal brand or solicit for user’s business. Any such activity by the user will result in removal of the user from MTS Social app groups or websites.
  4. Minors in Media – Parents/guardians understand that minors may appear in Temple media. Requests to opt out must be made in advance.
  5. Parental Responsibility – Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising minors and
    for any damage caused by them.
  6. Legal Basis – We follow U.S. privacy best practices, Missouri nonprofit expectations, IRS
    donation requirements, and COPPA considerations.
  7. Sharing Information – We do not sell or rent data. Limited information may be shared with
    service providers or authorities when required.
